This course places heavy emphasis on food safety and sanitation.  The course will provide students with an opportunity to culminate their learning experience in a career pathway via food preparation and food service.  The course also engages students in higher order thinking by challenging them with practical problems.  Students also will have the opportunity to become ServSafe certified in this course.
